LATEST UPDATE ON ADSU CONVOCATION CEREMONY
The management on behalf of Council and Senate has announced the postponement of the forth coming Convocation Ceremony scheduled to hold on 28th March 2020 indefinitely in compliance to NUC and FGN directives related to the corona virus pandemic.
The information below will be updated as soon as the University releases new dates for the ceremony.
Adamawa State University, ADSU Convocation Date has been Announced. This is the second convocation ceremony after over 10 years.
The Governor of Adamawa state and visitor to Adamawa State University (ADSU) has given the Governing Council approval for Convocation to be held from 26th – 28th March, 2020. .
Since the university was established in 2002 by the Boni Haruna administration, following the return to democratic rule in 1999, ADSU has held only one convocation for its graduating students and that was in 2008.

ADSU Convocation Programme of Events
The Convocation lectures is scheduled to hold on Friday 27th
March 2020 and the Guest lecturer is Prof Kyari Mohammed, the former VC Mautech Yola,the topic is Dialogue with the deaf:Insurgency and Education in Nigeria.
The award of Diplomas, First and High Degrees, Conferment of Honorary Degree, Presentation of Prizes and Installation of Chancellor will be on 28th March 2020.
Two eminent personalities will be conferred with honorary degrees at the event and a new Chancellor installed for the University.
ADSU New Chancellor
HRH Alh. Mohammed Seyoji Ahmed, the Emir of Pindiga in Gombe State is the new Chancellor of ADSU, Mubi. He replaces the former Chancellor HRH Joram Joel Few OON, the Murum Mbula.
The new Chancellor is set to be installed at the forth Coming Convocation scheduled for 28th March 2020.
