The Management of Adamawa State University, Mubi is pleased to announce, that the 5th – 12th Combined convocation Ceremony is scheduled to hold from 26th – 28th March, 2020. 

Consequently, all graduated students for the said sessions are to take note of the following information for their necessary action.

1. The Convocation Ceremony will include all graduands from the 2009/2010 – 2017/2018 Academic Sessions. All concerned are advised to check the University website for the full list and other vital information on the ceremony.

2. Convocation Fee

(a) All Convoking graduands are to pay convocation fee according to his/her status as follows:

i. Certificate Course and Diploma Holders N10,000.00 only

ii. First Degree Holders
iii. Post Graduate Diploma Holders
iv. Masters Degree Holders
v. PhD Holders
N15,000.00 only
N20,000.00 only
N25,000.00 only
N35,000.00 only

(b) Mode of Payment: All payments are to be through: Acc. Name: ADSU, Mubi,Acc. No. 2009708822, First Bank.

(c) The above charges covers the following:
i. Hiring of academic gown

ii.
iii.
iv.
v.
Order of proceedings
Certificate holder
Certificate fee
Administrative charges.

(d) Issuance of academic gowns and Order of Proceedings will commence on 26th March, 2020
at the respective faculty offices from 8:30 am, on first come, first serve basis, on presentation of evidence of payment of convocation fee.

(e) Please note payment of the convocation fees is mandatory on all graduands for collection of certificate irrespective of being in attendance during the ceremony or not.

(f) All graduands are to present verified receipt for the above payment before collecting their certificates.

(g) All gowns are to be returned latest, Monday 30th March, 2020 or the appropriate charges of N1,000 per day for non-return will apply.

3. Distribution of Certificates will commence on Monday, 30th March, 2020 at the Academic Registry. 

Graduands are to present the following before collection;• Original Statement of Result• School ID Card• Recent valid ID Card (Voter’s Card, Driver’s License, or National ID Card)• Copy of O’ Level Certificate• Evidence of alumni registration/membership.• Copy of convocation fee receipt.
4. Alumni membership registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) applies, payable through: ACC Name: ADSU, Mubi, Acc. No. 0015867812, Unity Bank. Registration will commence on 25th March, 2020 by 8:30 am at the Alumni Advancement Office.

5. Academic Gowns are available for sale to PhD graduands at the rate of Twenty Thousand Naira
(N20,000) only
. (Please note that this is not included in the convocation fee). All PhD graduands are encouraged to purchase the gown for personal use and as a mark of identification with Adamawa State University, Mubi.

6. Other Matters:
i. All graduands are expected to attend the Convocation Lecture, scheduled to hold on  Friday, 27th March, 2020 by 9:00 am prompt at the Multipurpose Hall.
ii. All graduands are expected to avail themselves at the convocation ceremony and to be formally dressed in full English or National wear.
iii. Only graduands that are appropriately dressed in their respective faculty gowns will be
allowed in the procession and on the convocation ground.
