LeAnna, Girl Who Finished High School at 14, University at 16, Set for Masters Degree

Cursory: Tuscaloosa, Alabama native LeAnna Roberts will shortly get her biology bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in the US. The adolescent, who graduated from high school and community college at the age of 14, enrolled in the university the same year to continue her education.

LeAnna Roberts, a Tuscaloosa, Alabama, native, will get a biology bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama when she is 16 years old. Before enrolling at the university the same year to start her pre-medical course, the adolescent completed high school and community college at the age of barely 14.

The young girl is a bright young college student who is active in her community and excels in her classes.

”I mentor and represent Vision Days as a member of the executive board of the Society of Women in Medicine,” Roberts told Local12 News. “I also study health disparities in Black-built communities.

Lee and Latonya Roberts, the teenager’s parents, are pleased with all that their daughter has accomplished. Latonya said, “I was always interested in hearing about her day. She could always find the positive side of things, even though some days were harder than others. Every day was different.” However, they admit that they were a little hesitant when LeAnna started attending lessons with older people.

“I wanted to make sure it was going to be a safe environment for her, and we wouldn’t have to worry,” said Lee, according to Black News.

With the assistance of the school’s administration, LeAnna breezed through her curriculum, refusing to allow her youth stop her. In just two years, she will graduate with more than a dozen honors. She will continue her studies at the University of Alabama.

The adolescent has also started taking graduate-level courses, and by the end of the next academic year, she hopes to have earned an MBA with a focus in health care. She is currently preparing for the MCAT in order to practice orthopedics.
