Cursory: An exceptional young medical doctor swept 16 out of 22 awards at the 2023 graduation ceremony of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Nathaniel Codjoe, @codjoenat27, a young man in his twenties has left many in awe during his convocation ceremony after sweeping 16 out of 22 medical awards.
This amazing event happened recently during UCC’s Convocation Ceremony for the College of Health and Allied Sciences (2nd Edition) on 30th March.
At one point, Prof. (Mrs). Rosemond Boohene, the UCC’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor while announcing his awards, the fresh Doctor’s Mum and Dad who couldn’t keep their joy, danced around the convocation hall.
It didn’t end there still when the list of awards seemed unending, the father did the unexpected by trying to cary his son on his back.
Though his son’s weight probably made him change his mind as he stopped almost immediately, an action that amused dignitaries on the high table.
Codjoe emerged as the best student in 16 areas, which include:
- Best Student in Anatomy
- Best Student in Medical Biochemistry
- Best Graduating Student in Physiology
- Best Student in Microbiology
- Best Student in Community Medicine
- Best Student in Chemical Pathology
- Best Student in Pharmacology
- Best Student in Clinical student
- Best Graduating Male Student
- Best Graduating Pre-Clinical Student
- Best Student in MB ChB Final Part II
- Best Overall Performance
- Best Overall Male Medical Student
- Best Student in Family Medicine
