Canada-based Nigerian Student Shares Frustration With Schooling Abroad, Netizens React

Cursory: According to a Nigerian student studying in Canada studying abroad, is not as enjoyable as it may seem. She highlighted the demanding coursework and high costs associated with each course. The student also dispelled the notion that finding jobs abroad is easy.

The common belief in Nigeria is that studying abroad is nice and it is a sure ticket to a better life. This assumption has been alive for years and no one has counterd it. But what if it is not entirely true?

A Nigerian student studying in Canada recently expressed her perspective on the experience of studying abroad, highlighting that it is not as enjoyable as it may seem.

The student shared her thoughts on her TikTok page. According to the user with the handle @floura___, her main focus is on maintaining good grades rather than earning money while studying abroad.

She also disclosed that the coursework is demanding, and each course costs $3000. Additionally, she emphasized that if she fails a course, she would have to pay again to retake it.

Furthermore, the student dispelled the notion that finding jobs abroad is easy. She explained that despite earning some income, they have other financial obligations to meet and cannot rely on constant support from their home country.
