DELSU Matriculation Ceremony Date 2024 Announced [UPDATED]

DELSU Matriculation, Orientation Dates: The Delta State University (DELSU) Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2023/2024 has been released.

This is to inform the University Community that the Matriculation Ceremony for Postgraduate and Undergraduate students admitted in 2023/2024 Academic Session has been scheduled to hold in the two Campuses of the University as follows:

ABRAKA CAMPUS

• DATE: Saturday, January 20, 2024
• TIME: 9.00am
• VENUE: Convocation Arena, Site III

OLEH CAMPUS

• DATE: Saturday, January 20, 2024
• TIME: 11.00am
• VENUE: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Hall, Faculty of Engineering

NOTE:

• Faculty Officers are to collect gowns for their matriculating students from the Senate Division immediately.
• Matriculating students are to go to their Faculty Officers to collect their gowns on presentation of their school fees printout from the date of this publication to Friday, January 19, 2024; between the hours of 8.00am-4.00pm daily.
• At the Abraka Campus of the University, all matriculating students (Postgraduate and Undergraduate) should be seated by 8.30am at the Convocation Arena.
• At the Oleh Campus of the University, all matriculating students should be seated by 10.30am at the 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Engineering.
• Attendance is mandatory for all Fresh students and lateness to the Ceremony will not be tolerated. Faculty Officers must ensure that matriculating students from their Faculties adhere strictly to this directive.
• Matriculated students must return their gowns to their Faculties not later than 4.00pm on Monday, January 22, 2024 as non compliance will attract a penalty of one thousand naira (N1, 000) each day the gown is retained. A penalty of ten thousand naira (N10, 000) would be charged as replacement cost for any gown not returned, that is lost or damaged.
• On no account should gowns be rented out to photographers. Security operatives have been mandated to confiscate such gowns found with photographers and anyone caught in this act will be sanctioned by the University.

By this publication, all Principal Officers of the University, Deans, Directors, Heads of Department, staff, students and other members of the University community are invited to the Ceremony.
