She recently bagged an M.Sc Engineering (Electronics) with distinctions from another university in the UK, Nottingham Trent University.

She had narrated that she was earlier discouraged from applying for the degree by one of her lecturers while in Nigeria because her Degree was in Education.

Pauline attended the Modibbo Adama Federal University of Technology, Yola, finishing with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology Education.

According to her, she went to her Head of Department for a reference letter that can get her admitted for a Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering at Nottingham Trent University.

Her HOD however declined to tell her to stay in her lane of discipline telling her that she would not be admitted for the program

“My HOD told me to stay in my lane simply because I asked for a reference letter for my university application to study MSc Electronics Engineering. His reasons were “you would not be admitted“, Pauline said.

She however ignored the HOD and went ahead to request a reference letter from someone else. She requested the letter from an exam supervisor who granted her request and wrote the reference letter that got her admitted into Nottingham Trent University for a Masters’s Degree in Electronics Engineering.

With that, she proceeded to apply for a scholarship in the University and she eventually got accepted for the scholarship program of her choice.

“I not only got admitted to Nottingham Trent University on a Postgraduate scholarship for my desired program, but every other university I applied to during my search offered me admission. Today here I am grateful to God for the journey so far,” she added.

Pauline Adetola disclosed that she has graduated from her Master’s Degree Programme as an Engineer, bagging Distinction and also getting the award of “Best Overall Performance Prize”.
