This is to inform the general public especially prospective students of the Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology (FCVMLT) that the post-utme screening form for the 2022/2023 academic session has not been released yet.

Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology (FCVMLT) Admission Form for 2018/2019 Session is now available.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology (FCVMLT) FMLSCN, MLA, MLT, NDEH and EHT programme of the College for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology Courses.

  • Fellows of Medical Laboratory Science (FMLSCN)  (Three years)
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) (Three years)
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) (Two years)
  • ND/HND (Environmental Health)
  • Environmental Health Technician (EHT)
  • Environmental Health Assistant (EHA)

FCVMLT Admission Requirements and Duration.

Note: Combination of WAEC and NECO is acceptable.

  1. Fellow of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (FMLSCN)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Holders of Associate Certificate of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSN) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) Certificate plus a current practicing license.
      Duration of Course: Minimum of 3 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: Fellows of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria Certificate
  2. Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Four (4) O/L credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology plus at least a pass in Physics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO and NABTEB within a space of five (5) years.
      Duration of Course: 3 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate
  3. Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Three (3) O/L credit passes in English Language, Chemistry and Biology plus at least a pass in Mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB within a space of five (5) years.
      Duration of Course: 2 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
  4. ND/HND (Environmental Health)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Five (5) Credits level in WAEC/NECO/GCE at not more than 2 sittings. These must include: English, Biology/Health Science, Chemstry and Mathematics (Compulsary). Others to make up 5 credits could be either Geography, Food and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, Economics, Commerce and Physics.
      Duration of Course: 4 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: HND, Environmental Health
  5. Environmental Health Technician (EHT)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Four (4) Credit level in WAEC/NECO/GCE at not more than 2 sittings. These must include: English, Biology/Health Science, Chemstry and Mathematics (Compulsary). Others could be any of these at credit or pass levels. Geography, Economics,Commerce, Food and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, Agricultural Science.
      Duration of Course: 3 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: Environmental Health Technician Certificate
  6. Environmental Health Assistant (EHA)
    • Entry Requirements:
      Passes level in WAEC/NECO/GCE at not more than 2 sittings. These must include: English, Biology/Health Science, Chemstry and Mathematics (Compulsary). Others could be any of these at credit or pass levels. Geography, Economics,Commerce, Food and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, Agricultural Science.
      Duration of Course: 2 Calendar Years
      Certificate Awarded: Environmental Health Assistant Certificate

How to Apply for Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology Admission.

Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology, Vom welcomes application from applicants within and outside the country. We provide equal opportunities for all and our admission process is transparent by providing a level playing field for all Applicants.

A non-refundable application fee of N15,000 for FMLSCN, N8,000 for MLT and N5000 for MLA payable to the federal college of veterinary and medical laboratory technology, Vom through the REMITA platform after a successful generation of RRR number from the college student portal

Step 2: Make payment for your application online using your ATM Card or bank Deposit through the REMITA Platform. Click here on How to Make Payment for more information on this step.

Note: You will be required to have a valid mobile number and email address in order to apply for any of our courses. After successful payment, come back to this page and login with your APPLICATION NO or PHONE NUMBER to complete the steps enumerated below. Note: If you made you payment through bank deposit you will need to wait for one(1) hour in order for your payment to be confirmed

Step 3: Complete your Biodata form

Step 4: Complete your O’Level result entry

Step 5: Upload the required Documents. The Following Documents will be required

  • Passport Photograph (Compulsary)
  • Birth Certificate (Compulsary)
  • O’Level Results i.e WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (Compulsary)
  • Indigene Certificate (Optional)
  • FSLC (Compulsary)
  • Secondary School Testimonial (Compulsary)
  • Other Relevant Document

Step 6: Review all the information you entered and correct any possible error(s). Upon satisfactory review of the informatin click on submit application to conclude your application. Print out the slip at the end of the registation to serve as evidence of application.

You will be Notified of any further information concerning your application via SMS and email

Deadline: The sales of the application will commence on 25th April and End on 30th July, 2018. Please note that sales of application will not be extended beyond, hence interested candidates are advised to apply before the closing date.
