FUOTUOKE Surprises Five First Year Students of 2017/2018 Session with Amazing Gifts.

The vice chancellor Federal University Otuoke, Prof. Seth Accra Jaja has presented five HP laptops to five 100 level students of the 2017/2018 Academic session of the University who have the highest CGPA in their various Faculties.

Presenting the prizes to the outstanding students, Thursday 19th april,2018 the vice chancellor said the gesture is in fulfillment of the promise he made at the 7th matriculation ceremony of the University recently on the need to compensate Academic excellence.

Prof. Jaja commended the students for distinguishing themselves pledging to sustain the tempo.

He expressed optimism that the gesture will serve as motivation to the beneficiaries and spur other students to achieve same feat in their school endeavour.

The Vice chancellor also used the occasion to commend the lecturers for their dedication to duty assuring that his administration will create a similar platform to recognize outstanding staff.

The vice chancellor also presented two Infinix phones as consolation packs to two students who equally recorded impressive grade points their departments.

The beneficiaries of the laptops are; Odina Nnanna Emmanuel of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with a CGPA of 4.91, Ismaila Amina Adedoyin Faculty of Science with CGPA of 4.81.

Others are Oghenerhieche Ernest of Faculty of Education with CGPA of 4.80, Irobekhian Godwin Osas of Faculty of Management Sciences with a CGPA of 4.78 and Abili Oweika David of Engineering Faculty with a CGPA OF 4.77.

Responding on behalf of other beneficiaries, Odina Nnanna Emmanuel thanked the vice chancellor for the gesture and pledged to work harder.

He assured of their resolve to continue to be good ambassadors of Federal University Otuoke.
