FUTO students, staff avoid school entrance gate over juju scare

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri(FUTO) Students, and STaff and currently in fear over a charm (juju) dropped in front of their main entrance gate.

According to some sources, most students and staff had to take an alternative route to the school to avoid stories that touches the heart.

The source in anonymity, further revealed that one of the host communities of the school which has been in dispute with the school authorities allegedly had dumped a coffin and some palm fronds at the school gate to send a warning to the school management to stay away from their land.

The community the source revealed has been battling the school for a long time over a vast piece of land it alleged belonged to them and purportedly grabbed by the institution.

“We woke up this morning to see that thing there, we do not know who placed it there but some people have told us that it is one of those communities in dispute with the school over the school’s land. The source said.

When the University’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mrs. Uche Nwelue, was contacted to confirm that situation, she responded that she’s is not at the school premises to know about the development.
