Bilqees Lawal, NYSC 2021 Batch A Corps Member, First Class Graduate of Accounting Department and Overall Best Graduating Student at Achievers University Owo, has expressed her joy as her borehole tank project finally gets commissioned.
Allschool had in January shared how Bilqees Lawal commenced a borehole tank project for a community where she was sent to do her one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
The 20-year-old corps member explained that she decided to embark on the project because she realized the members of the community were using unhealthy water for drinking, cooking and bathing.

In a follow-up update, Bilquees has contacted Allschool and shared a touching pictures of the commissioning of the borehole project.

In her words:
“The journey of 5 months have finally come to a successful end.
“With tears of joy, I’d like to thank Almighty Allah for the completion and commissioning of Kpong water Project which was borne out of the desire to make an impact and contribute positively to humanity.
“A project in congruence with #SDG 6: Clean water & Sanitation and the primary aim of providing access to clean water to over 500 beneficiaries in Kpong Community, Khana LGA, Rivers State.
“Special appreciation to my parents for their support and consistent prayers and our major Sponsors; the founder of Career Associates Nigeria Adebowale A. Odumuwagun, CEO of Blieu Intelligence Automations, Ezekiel-inyele Victor, the EDO Folasade Omole and EGM Lola Johnson of Genesis Group Nigeria, the Chairman of Khana LGA Dr. Thomas Bariere and the Councilor of Kpong Community Honourable Robinson Nule for greatly sponsoring, supporting and advocating for the realization of this project.”
According to Bilquees , the project was commissioned in early February 2022.
