UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR HUMAN NUTRITION/ NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

Below is the UTME subject combination for Human Nutrition/ Nutrition and Dietetics in Faculty/College of MEDICAL/PHARMACEUTICAL/HEALTH SCIENCES;

• English Language(*), Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR UTME SUBJECTS

• IBADAN (UI) requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

UTME REQUIREMENT FOR HUMAN NUTRITION/ NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

Below is the O’level subjects needed for Human Nutrition/ Nutrition and Dietetics in Faculty/College of MEDICAL/PHARMACEUTICAL/HEALTH SCIENCES;

• Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR SSC SUBJECTS

• BOWEN requires five (5) ‘0’ level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Geography/Economics.
• IBADAN (UI) same as in Medicine and Surgery.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR HUMAN NUTRITION/ NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

Below is the Direct Entry requirement for Human Nutrition/ Nutrition and Dietetics in Faculty/College of MEDICAL/PHARMACEUTICAL/HEALTH SCIENCES;

• Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry, Biology and Physics plus the UTME requirement.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR DIRECT ENTRY

1. ABUAD requires three (3) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
   
2. BOWEN requires at least two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Chemistry and any of Biology, Botany, Zoology, Agricultural Science, Physics or Geography.
   
3. IBADAN (UI) preference will be given to the Professional Certificates of
   1. Nigeria Registered Nurse or equivalent
   2. Own Certificate of Food Science and Applied Nutrition
   3. ND in Agriculture;
   4. Public Health Inspectorate Certificate.
