In JAMB, what is the meaning of Special Consideration (Waiver)??

It means, additional requirement for a particular course in a particular school. If your school have a special consideration for either O’level Requirement, UTME Subject Combination or Direct Entry Requirement, then please take note of it.

Note sometimes in special consideration column, the school requirement might be slight different from the general requirement. We advice you know your desired school’s special consideration for your course. ITS NECESSARY else you might be denied admission.


UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR RADIOGRAPHY

Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for Radiography;

  • English Language(*), Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

  • UNN – As in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • LAGOS requires English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • ABU requires Use of English, Physics ,Chemistry and Biology.

UTME REQUIREMENT FOR RADIOGRAPHY

Below is the UTME Requirement for Radiography;

  • Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

  • UNN – As in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • LAGOS requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR RADIOGRAPHY

Below is the DIRECT ENTRY (DE) Requirement for Radiography;

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

  • BOWEN requires ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry, Physics and any other Science subject.
  • CALABAR accepts
    a)  ‘A’ Level passes in any two (2) of Chemistry, Biology and Physics plus the UTME requirements
    b)  Accepts B.SC in Physical or Biological sciences plus the UTME requirements.
  • MAIDUGURI accepts DIR/DCR registered with radiographers Board of Nigeria plus the UTME requirements.
  • UNIZIK requires ‘A’ Level pass in Physics. Accepts London International Baccalaureate.
  • LAGOS accepts passes in three (3) JUPEB/’A’  level subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
  • UNN – No direct entry.
  • ABU accepts A’ Level/IJMB Passes in three subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Zoology. Registered X-ray/Imaging Processing Technician.
