Breakthrough: Boy told he’ll never understand mathematics graduates as overall best student, bags $1.5m Scholarship

Nicholas Watson, a young man who was diagnosed with Autism when he was a kid, has wowed many by bagging overall best student with a 4.8GPA. As a result, Watson has been rewarded with a scholarship of $1.5m (over N750m).

Arklatex has reported that Nicholas Watson has emerged as the overall best graduating student with a 4.8GPA despite being diagnosed with Autism when he was small.

FYI, autism is a complicated condition that includes problems with communication and behavior.

In Nicholas’s case, when he was diagnosed with Autism, he was told that he would never be able to read or comprehend Maths or anything taught in the classroom.

Years later, Nicholas proved all the Doctors wrong by emerging as the overall best student in his school.

A feat has been rewarded with a $1.5m (over N750m).

Nicholas is not just an academic guru, he is also an athlete thriving in basketball, cross country, soccer, and track.

Out of the 45 schools, Watson has selected Harding University to study Electrical Engineering on a basketball scholarship.
