School Valedictorian and Honor Student Makes History, Wins $69k on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Cursory: An outstanding young man who was the Valedictorian of his class of 2021 and also an honor student has made history as he wins a Mini Cooper and a total of $69,600 monetary winning in the wheel of fortune.

Quincy Howard, a sophomore at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, made history when he won almost $70,000 on Wheel of Fortune after quickly guessing the correct answer in the bonus round.

On November 28th, Howard appeared on the show as part of an ongoing college-week series. He had taken the top spot, already winning $35,750 as he went on to the bonus round.

In the bonus round, Howard had to guess the puzzle from the “People” category within 10 seconds. It didn’t even take long since the timer started when Howard correctly answered “Kids at play.”

According to the Georgia Tech News Center, Howard was surprised when he found out the prize he won is a Mini Cooper. He also won a total of $69,600 monetary winnings.

Howard, who was an honor graduate in high school and the valedictorian of the Class of 2021, is celebrating his big win.

His former high school also congratulated him with a Facebook post saying: “Way to go Quincy!!! You cleaned up at Wheel of Fortune! You continue to make the Green and Gold beam with Irish Pride!”
