Odunayo Ibitoye, graduated with First-Class in Department Of Law and won so many awards from Olasibi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye Ogun state.

Since the Establishment of the Faculty in 1982 at OOU, only three students graduated with first class.

Sharing her story on LinkedIn, she wrote:

“On the 31st of January I officially became a member of the exclusive 4 students in the history of Olabisi Onabanjo University Faculty of Law to graduate with a First Class since its establishment in 1982!”

“It was an journey of hard work, consistency and a positive mindset. I gained admission with the resounding tune of “no one can graduate with first class in this faculty “ but my dad had always taught me that as a man thinks in his heart so is he and so I blocked out the negativity”.

“five years later, I am walking into my future with over 15 academic awards and commendations combined.”

“My final year was tough , I was tired and under a lot of pressure, as a matter of fact , my CGPA dropped but I managed to top my class of over 220 students. I am grateful to God and my mentors. Here’s me saying to my imposter syndrome “you can’t win”.

“I am acknowledging my groundbreaking achievements with all my heart. It is even more beautiful to see that my closest friends were part of the top 10 students of the Faculty; Bakare Khairat Oluwatomilola GLORY OLALEKAN OLUSEYI and Ogunsola Rofiat . I appreciate Damilola Oluwafunsho AWOTULA for his mentorship and guidance.”

Many of her friends took to the comment section to congratulate her.

A few of the comments read as follows:

Damilola Oluwafunsho AWOTULA: “Congratulations Odunayo. I am very proud of you. Dr. Demola Okeowo, Ph.D. Abayomi Okubote, MCIArb Babajide Milton Macaulay, Ph.D. Here is one of our brightest minds at OOU, Faculty of Law”
