Aminat Tajudeen, a Kwara State College of Education student, passed away during class after collapsing and losing consciousness. The deceased, a 100-level Music/Yoruba student at the university, was reported to have arrived to class on Wednesday, April 12, without exhibiting any signs or symptoms of illness.

It has been reported that tragedy has struck at the Kwara State College of Education in Ilorin. Aminat Tajudeen, a student in the institution’s 100-level program, is alleged to have passed away during a lecture on Wednesday, April 12, at around 1:30 pm, according to The Punch.

According to Nigerian Tribune, she was reportedly returning to class after picking up her matriculation gown for the ceremony slated for Thursday, April 13 when the event occurred.

The state police command has not yet responded to the news, but on Thursday night, Mrs. Abibat Zubair, the college’s public relations officer, confirmed the occurrence.
