UNIBEN 44th Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events

UNIBEN Convocation Ceremony: The University of Benin (UNIBEN) 44th Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events has been Announced.

This is to inform all 2016/2017 graduands of University of Benin (UNIBEN), that the school management has released the schedule of events for the 44th Convocation and 48th founder’s day Ceremonies. 

The ceremonies is scheduled to hold from Monday 19th November to 24th November 2018 and will kick-off with with a World Press Briefing, scheduled to take place at the University of Benin’s Senate Chambers.

Monday 19th November, 2018

1. 9.00 a.m. – Interdenominational Service
   Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
2. 11.00 a.m. Convocation Lecture
   Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
3. 1.00 p.m. – Cocktail Party
   Venue – Pro-Chancellor’s Lodge

Thursday, 22nd November, 2018

1. 10.00 a.m. – Presentation of Prizes
   Award of Certificates, Diplomas and First Degrees in the Faculties of Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Pharmacy, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, School of Dentistry, School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Medicine, Institute of Education and IPAES.
   Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium

Friday, 23rd November, 2018

1. 10.00 a.m. – Exhibition/Cultural Display
2. 11.00 a.m. – Founder’s Day Lecture – Special Convocation
   Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
3. 1.00 p.m. – Cocktail Party
   Venue – Chancellor’s Lodge

Saturday, 24th November, 2018

1. 10.30 a.m. Presentation of Prizes,Award of Post-Graduate Diplomas, Conferment of Higher Degrees (Masters & Doctorate),  Hall of Fame Award and Conferment of Honorary Degrees/Professor Emeritus.
   Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
2. 1.00 p.m. – Buffet
   Venue – Banquet Hall
