Grace Utobuiro, a 200-level actuarial student from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has won a prize of N200,000 after winning the third 4-inch high heel competition at the NIS field of the Surulere National Stadium in Lagos.

21-year-old Grace defeated 14 other runners in a one-day 100-meter dash to become the champion.

During the preliminaries, she enjoyed a relaxed run but was strongly challenged by favorites Eluwa and Zainab Ayinla in the final, who had to finish second and third respectively.

Utobuiro went home with N200,000 and gifts, while Eluwa and Ayinla received N150,000 and N100,000 and gifts respectively.

Elder Dede Agwu Kalu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of DMS Limited, said at the event that he was very impressed with the attendance of the participants and the high level of competitiveness, ensuring his continued commitment to the competition and hoped to spread it to other states in the Federation And other African countries.

He said that sports entertainment is about women being smart when wearing high heels.

In his words: “Ladies must wear high heels because it gives them a unique look and brings out the elegance in them”.
