A student at the University of Portharcourt (UNIPORT) is in trouble after his sick girlfriend d!ed in his apartment during her sleep.
Narrating the story, a Twitter user identified as @TheBriDen revealed while opening the eyes of young men to some unfavourable implications of allowing girls to pass the night in their houses, revealed that this Uniport student is currently in a big mess as the family of his late girlfriend is keen on getting back at him.
Worst of it all is that they lack sufficient funds to conduct an autopsy test to ascertain the cause of their daughter’s death.
Sharing the story, he wrote: “Heard the sad story of a Uniport student currently in police custody because his girlfriend, another Uniport student, died in her sleep in his house after a brief illness.
“A simple autopsy would show that he is innocent but the family cannot afford one.
“Dear Kings, even if na 2am, try carry her go drop for her house so you fit sleep well too”
Reacting to the story, another twitter user wrote:
“Everytime someone has to stay the night in my house, I’ll always ask if there’s any medication he or she is taking. I know it might not do much, however, it can narrow down investigation in the event of an emergency.
Secondly, no one comes to my house unannounced. U won’t stay.”
When asked if that won’t sound embarrassing, the another user replied: “Embarrassing? Bruh if I tell you my nysc story of how a girl passed out in my room during knacks. I was running up and down around 3am with only boxers like a toad looking for pharmacy. I didn’t see one, when I came back she was already up pressing phone. Never again!“
