The e-voting process was first test run by Faculty Of Social Science during the faculty level election.

The University’s Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Edwin Omeje boasted that the election was corruption free, fast and reliable.

He however lamented that over 14,000 students registered for the election but less than 5,000 students participated in the election.

He hoped the turn-out will be better next time.
