Cursory: A secondary school student caused an uproar for spending that much on just a simple graduation.
It is good to celebrate your little wins, irrespective of how little you presume your achievement/feat to be, celebrate it and make it look big. Probably, that’s what our young graduate, Rebecca understood and made her secondary school preparation an elaborate one.
On her Tik Tok social media handle, @youallmeetrebecca, she shared a video on how she spent N180,000 to get her desired look.
In the video, Rebecca broke down the cost of each element of her preparation. She revealed that she allocated N68,000 for her hair and installation, N10,000 for her nails, N42,000 for the material and sewing of her outfit, N15,000 for a bag, N15,000 for heels, N12,000 for makeup, and N18,000 for jewelry.
Many Netizens were criticizing her comment section for spending that much in just a simple graduation. As sarcastic as it may sound, others went to confirm if she aced her West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams before lavishing such an amount of money.
Just to clear their criticism, Rebecca shared her WAEC result online, confirming that she aced all her papers with 5As, 3Bs and 1C.
